ok finally

ok so today is second and file day in Venice. Ive finally found time and wifi to post some blogs. here is my post about Kassel I wrote on the way to Venice a few days ago. Kassel
Meeting stephaine’s german family was fun. We were met at the trainstation by Michael (mick-a-le). The ramp to get out of the trainstation was insanely Steep and long. And after more the 24 hours of no sleep and little food I to make it up the ramp. Yeah the food on the plane was atrouis. Michael took us to Uncle Fred and Aunt Annelise. They were very nice. Aunt Annelise didn’t speak any english and my german is bad, so ofcourse hilarity ensued. Uncle fred was able to translate for her and steph translated for me. We ateook and some type of soup the Aunt annelise called goulsh. It was like beef stew with mushrooms and was greasy but in a good way. After eating I went to sleep. It was the best 5 hours of my life. Steph laid down with me after she show them pictures of our house and pets ,etc. We both got up at 5 and took a shower. Nothing really too different about that. After my shower we ate some awesome cake and milk. And when I say milk I mean MILK. It was like it was straight from the cow.it wasn’t cold and it was very thick.it stayed on the side of the glass almost like watery pudding. But it was good none the less. Before leaving we told everone bye and thanked them for everything. Michael took us to see this statue called hercules in kassel. It was kinda like vulcan but way bigger. Unfortnuatly we couldnt get very close but steph said that there is a pretty cool fountain that runs from the base of hercules to a little visiors center. now off to venice.
